ECHILD Shortlisted for the HDR UK Susannah Boddie Award for Impact of the Year
We are delighted to announce that the Education and Child Health Insights from Linked Data (ECHILD) Research Database has been shortlisted for the Susannah Boddie Award for Impact of the Year by HDR UK. This prestigious award recognises research that has made a significant contribution to improving health and social outcomes through the innovative use of data.
ECHILD is a unique resource that links health and education data to provide a more comprehensive understanding of how early life experiences impact children's health, development, and educational outcomes. By enabling multi-agency data linkage, ECHILD has informed early years' policies and improved decision-making across government departments.
Being shortlisted for this award is an honour and highlights the crucial role of linked data in shaping policies that support children and families. We are proud to be recognised alongside other outstanding projects driving impactful change in healthcare and public policy.
The winners will be announced in March 2025.
