This project aims to examine the health outcomes of Children in Need (CiN), Children Looked After (CLA) and those under Child Protection Plans (CPP). We will explore the factors associated with these health outcomes, and the health trajectories of these populations. The study has the following objectives:

• To characterise health outcomes for the CiN, CLA and CPP populations
• To compare health outcomes for the CiN, CLA and CPP populations with the general population.
• To examine factors associated with the health outcomes in these populations
• To describe inequalities in the outcomes of these populations by key variables

The study is being led by Professor Katie Harron and is funded by ADR UK.
