Calling all ECHILD (Education and Child Health Insights from Linked Data) users who are interested in joint bid development for an upcoming funding announcement.

In April 2025 the Wellcome Trust will be launching a pre-announcement for funding of a three-to-five-year project under their Mental Health Award: Leveraging longitudinal data to transform early intervention in mental health.

The call is to fund research that uses existing longitudinal datasets listed on the Atlas of Longitudinal Datasets. ECHILD is catalogued on the Atlas.

UCL invitation for joint funding application

The ECHILD team, based at University College London (UCL), are looking to develop a bid for this funding call. The team are inviting those interested in joining their application to attend an online meeting to address potential research objectives.

If you are interested in attending an online meeting on 31 March 2025, please email [email protected] using an institutional email address and specifying the following:

  • Name

  • Place of work

  • Areas of interest relating to ECHILD and mental health research

  • Experience of working with ECHILD or mental health topics

  • Confirmation of availability for an online meeting on 31 March 2025

Deadline: Email by 26 March 2025 to express your interest. At this point you will be given details of the meeting, which will be held between 12 noon and 13:00 on 31 March 2025.
